These photos were taken by the owner. They depict the uncompromising view from this inviting home. This home is located on a bluff 120 feet above the Larry Scott Trail and overlooks Port Townsend Bay and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Whidbey Island and the Cascades are seen in the distance. Recently remodeled (2007) with custom cabinetry, flooring, tile, marble and granite. Appliances are new and boast a built-in espresso machine, induction cooktop and convection oven. A dog run is on the south side of the house. It is fenced and covered with a composite material.
Port Townsend is the first city established in the state of Washington, in 1852. Billed as the 'New York' of the west, the town, which features a number of Victorian houses, is in the National Historic Register. This is absolutely the best view in Port Townsend. Sit on your deck and watch the sunrise over the Cascades, sunsets over the Olympics create an ever changing panorama from your living room window. Bald Eagles glide by the windows at eye level daily. The photos I post here were taken from the deck. We have unobstructed views of Port Townsend Bay and the Cascades. Navy ships regularly enter the bay to dock at Indian Island. Port Townsend is in the National Register and is rated 24th in the world's top 100 historic towns by National Geographic World.
