She bore for years abuses and violence from her partner; when he raped her daughter she decided to end with him: in 2002 she killed her husband. <br /> 95% of women who kill their partner, do it as an extreme act of liberation after years living with violence; while men kill when they are loosing chances of perpetuating their pervertive manipulation, as an extreme act of submission.   • Maricarmen with her daughter Veronica..On June 2005 Maricarmen, while waiting the bus, passed next to her the man that 7 years back had raped her daughter Veronica, she was 13, telling her "How is your daughter?" He was then sentenced to 9 years, but that day he was out on permission and deliberately went to provoke the family that put him in jail. He entered in a bar with friends; she said that from that moment on, a power force drove her, went to buy a bottle of gasoline and then straight to the bar where she put fire on him. She was interned in a psychiatric jail and after 1 year she got the conditional freedom to reach her family while waiting for the sentence. By photographer Dana De Luca
