  • Mark Lunsford at the end of the 3rd Jessie's Ride in Crystal River, Florida on Feb. 24, 2007. Lunsford's daughter, nine-year-old Jessica, was kidnapped and murdered by a registered sex offender. She was reported missing exactly two years ago on Feb. 24, 2005. Lunsford has spent the past two years raising awareness and working to pass "Jessica's Act" strengthening penalties against child predators. To date, the act has passed in 26 states.
