  • The custodian of the Aborigianl Tent Embassy at Sandon Point, Roy "Dootch" Kennedy casts a look north over the beach. The tent embassy was setup to prevent the development of an area of coastal land on the south coast of NSW, Australia, that has great Aboriginal significance. The embassy celebrated its 6th birthday in December of 2006.Vandals burnt the embassy down to the ground a couple of years ago, Dootch lost computer equipment, legal files and personal effects. However the struggle paid off when the land at Sandon Point when the land was officially declared as an Aboriginal Place - protecting it for future generations. By photographer Tyler Smith
