  • Daniel Koecher, owner of Grandma's Attic antique store on West 7th Street in downtown St. Paul, MN, looks out towards the store entrance while waiting for customers Tuesday afternoon on the second day of the Republican National Convention. Koecher was disappointed in the amount of business the store was receiving during the convention. "It's been sickeningly slow. We we're preparing for a big storm and we didn't get it," said Koecher. "I think a lot of store owners are very upset. We'd sell more if this wasn't going on. We're losing money," he added, saying that the store is making about of quarter of its regular daily revenue.
