MU Clients

PhotoShelter Multi-User (MU) allows multiple users to access a single archive. Each image in the organization's account belongs to the organization, but can be attributed to "photographers" connected to the organization.

What is the PhotoShelter MU Client area?
Companies that use PhotoShelter MU can give users access to:
  • View "ClientPlus" Galleries (non-public galleries that don't require an explicit invitation to view
  • Search "ClientPlus" Galleries
  • Download all internal and public images

How come I can't access the Client Area?
You have to be invited by a PhotoShelter MU Organization. If you have not been granted ClientPlus access to an organization, you cannot access this area.

What do I do in the Client Area

  • Galleries: Click Galleries to see the internal galleries that you have access to. If the Organization has given you proper permission, you will be able to download the high-resolution version of the images.
  • Search: Search from the Client Area searches both public and internal images for the organization. If the Organization has given you proper permission, you will be able to download the high-resolution version of the images.
  • My Account: Change your name & password information

How do I download high-resolution images from the Client area?
If you have been granted high-resolution download access, you have two options to download images.

1. Batch Download
You can download all images in a gallery in batch using the PhotoShelter Download Applet. The Applet is a java-based tool that pulls down the images to a folder on your computer.

Click the green "Download Gallery" button. You must have Java installed on your computer to use the applet.

If this is the first time you are using the downloader, you must allow your computer to install the software. Click "Yes" when you are prompted to allow installation of the Java Applet from Bitshelter, LLC.

Installation might take a few seconds.

You can select the target folder by clicking the "browse" button .

Click the green "Start Download" button to initiate the download. You can click the gray "skip" button to skip a file.

2. Single Download
If you only want to download one or a few images, click on the thumbnail of the corresponding image. In the lower right of the screen, click the gray "click to download" button.
