Uploading with Photo Mechanic™
Photo Mechanic™ is the leading image browser that thousands of photographers and picture editors use to edit, caption and transmit images. Photo Mechanic is a stand alone application written for PC and Mac and can be purchased through Camera Bits.
Photo Mechanic™ version 4.5.4 or greater will allow you to upload images directly to PhotoShelter or PhotoShelter MU.
How do I use PhotoMechnic to upload to my PhotoShelter Archive?

Select the files you want to upload. From the menu go to File > Upload and select PhotoShelter from the Selected Uploader list

Click on Edit Accounts in the main upload window to enter your account information. This will include your PhotoShelter email address, PhotoShelter password, and an arbitrary name for your account.
- Choose which Archive folder you want to upload to or create a new one by typing directly in the Archive Folder field. Make any other image adjustments above. Click Send to start your upload.

Why would I use Photo Mechanic™ instead of the PhotoShelter Uploader?
If your normal workflow consists of editing down many images, you might want to consider using Photo Mechanic™ because of its ease of use in dealing with large edits. Because the PhotoShelter upload capability is integrated into the product, uploading saves time because it's unnecessary to launch another application, select files, etc. All of those repetitive tasks can be accomplished easily in Photo Mechanic™.
