Add & Apply Pricing Profiles

Creating Pricing Profiles

You have four options for pricing your images in PhotoShelter (print/product fulfillment, personal use licenses, royalty-free licenses, and rights-managed licenses). Instead of pricing each individual image, you create "profiles" that define size and pricing information, and then apply the profile to multiple images. This allows you to easily set and edit the pricing for large numbers of images at once. Pricing Profiles are easy to set up, and you may create as many as you want. The profiles are specific to each licensing type.

It should be noted that print/product pricing profiles contain both self-fulfilled and EZ Prints product offerings - this way you may offer a combination of automatically and manually fulfilled items within the same pricing scheme.

Applying a Pricing Profile

Once you have set up at least one Pricing Profile, you may apply it the images you wish to sell. Pricing can be done through "Archive" or "Galleries" section. Here are the easy steps to price images.

  1. Click the " Archive" tab
  2. Click the folder containing the image(s) you'd like to price
  3. Select the images you want to make available for sale
  4. Click "Price" button

  5. Choose the pricing profile you would like to apply (Royalty-Free and Rights-Managed are mutuallly exclusive).

  6. Priced images are now marked with a symbol

NOTE: RM and RF licenses are mutually exclusive, but you can apply a print and electronic license simultaneously.
