We're delighted to announce a new partnership with TinEye, a reverse image search engine. With TinEye, you can search the web for your images and determine how they're being used online. Now, anyone using TinEye's search tool may also track images back to your PhotoShelter website in just one click, identify you as the copyright owner or purchase your work if desired.
TinEye's index contains over 1 billion images and is growing every day. As of Wednesday, October 7 TinEye will begin indexing your PhotoShelter-hosted images that are marked as "publicly searchable". When fully indexed, TinEye search results will contain your PhotoShelter-hosted image plus any other online usage that TinEye finds. Images you upload and make publicly searchable in the future will be automatically indexed by TinEye, too.
It's a great way for you to monitor image usage, and another way for people to find you and your work!
