Grants for Local Photography Events

If you're doing good things for photography in your community, we want to hear from you!

What's the Program?

• You're organizing a photo-related event and need cash, prizes, speakers or other support.
• We want to help local organizations, events and contests.
• We can provide up to $500 cash, raffle prizes and discounts, group accounts for events, photo contest judging platforms, speakers and educational content, and promotion on our blog.

How Do I Apply?

• Organizers, fill out the application below.
• Non-PhotoShelter members may apply, but we reserve the right to favor PhotoShelter members!
• You'll get an email confirming we've received your application.
• We decide winners on the 15th of every month.
• If your request is urgent, call us at 212.206.0808 - we'll talk it through.
• If you need more than $500, go ahead and ask. Why not? Maybe we'll be a good match for larger sponsorship.
