Bio
David Rochkind(b.1980) has been covering Latin America since 2003 and is currently based in Mexico City. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, Glamour, Stern, The Observer Sunday Magazine, CARE and others. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A in Sociology and speaks fluent Spanish. In 2008 he was named as one of PDN's "30 New and Emerging Photographers to Watch" and was also awarded an International Reporting Project Fellowship by Johns Hopkins University. He was named a Magenta Foundation Flash Forward Emerging Photographer and was awarded a grant by the Pulitzer Center.
