Chris Mackler is a Photojournalist currently based in Southeast Ohio. He recently graduated from Ohio University majoring in Photojournalism, receiving a B.S. in Visual Communication. Chris has lived over a third of his life overseas, giving his body of work a fresh global perspective. Exploring different societies and cultures has always come naturally to Chris, his lens guiding you into cultures yet explored.
Chris' work has been featured in The Gazette (Cedar Rapids, IA), Edge Business Magazine (Cedar Rapids, IA), The Elkhart Truth (Elkhart, IN), The Post (Athens, OH) and The Associated Press.
Chris splits his time among various places he currently calls home: Cedar Rapids, IA, Muskegon, MI, Athens, OH and Arlington, VA. When not making images, he can be found giggling about llamas (you must admit, they're pretty adorable animals). He is available for freelance work everywhere.
