Bio
I am a professional photojournalist based in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and am available for freelance assignments anywhere in the world at a moments notice. I currently serve as the multimedia editor at the Duke Chronicle.
My main interest is rooted in sports photography and photojournalism. This has provided me with a unique style in covering special events, weddings and helps me create unique, dynamic portraits for my clients.
I like to think of myself as an entrepreneurial photographer. I constantly strive to re-invent the wheel. The way I look at it, there is always something new and undiscovered out there and I'm on a search to find it.
I've won multiple awards for my work over the years (the first one came at age 5). Since then, others have come from the Puerto Rico Photojournalism Association, Duke University, Government of Puerto Rico, Prudential Financial, PR Museum of Modern Art and the Fotomaraton. Most recently, I had the privilege of attending the Eddie Adams Workshop-Barnstorm XXI.
I am fluent in English, Spanish, German and French.
In my spare time you can find me swimming, surfing, scuba diving, traveling or learning how to cook.
