"Invasão dos padres" is a neighborhood in Altamira (North Brasil) which emerged approximately 9 years ago when 200 people occupied an area that belonged to Prelature since 1964. Today the area is home to 380 families composed predominantly of domestic workers, fishermen, small farmers and now also by the workers of the Belo Monte dam.
