Photographs from the Hole in the Wall Gang's annual ride in central Wyoming. The gang was formed on the tail end of a visit to the area by Robert Redford as part of an exploration of the history of the outlaw west for National Geographic. The following year seven men, including a prominent collumnist from the Denver Post, took a week long horseback trip through an area thought to be Butch Cassidy's hideout. The gang was formed around a set of bylaws written on a sack: no girls, no guns, and no gambling. The exclusive and secretive gang has expanded its membership rolls to 49 'buckleholders' many of whom attend the annual rides.Tom Foster
