The effects of the earthquake even bent the top of Tokyo Tower. After the earthquake and resulting tsunami on the 11th the problems at Fukushima Nuclear power station and the attendant risk of nuclear contamination plus hundreds of aftershocks and power shortages have made many people leave the city while those that remain try to provide assistant to the victims of the disaster in the north east.
