While I spend most of my time roaming the prairies and focusing on its beauty, including the sweeping horizons, the vegetation, and the birds and animals, I also love to wander through the Rocky Mountains and spend as much time as possible in the Provincial and National Parks that I'm so lucky to have in my backyard.
  • I went to downtown Ottawa on December 21st to try to photograph the once-in-a-lifetime lunar eclipse (coinciding with the winter solstice), but unfortunately the city was socked in with clouds and I barely saw the eclipse. So I took the opportunity to wander around and photograph some of the landmarks in the city instead...©2010, Sean Phillips.http://www.RiverwoodPhotography.com

  • The trees in the Calgary area are at the peak of the fall colors right now and they are very beautiful. The ponds at Carburn Park have been completely still every morning lately and I finally had a chance to create some beautiful landsacape images of the park...©2010, Sean Phillips.http://www.RiverwoodPhotography.com

  • We camped at the Wabasso Campground near Jasper, which is right beside the Athabasca River. It rained every day we were there, which was unfortunate for many reasons, but also led to these incredible double rainbows over the river!..©2010, Sean Phillips.http://www.RiverwoodPhotography.com
